A Person To Know….
                                      PHILLIPIANS 3:10
           And A Place To Grow….
                                      II Peter 3:18; Ephesians 4:15

Our message is a message of Hope in a world of despair, Peace in a world of turmoil, Love in a world of hate, Joy in a world of sorrows, and Faith in a world of doubt.

Our message focuses on one Man and what His sacrifice has accomplished for us (Eph. 3:10-11). A Man who lived a life of obedience for us (Rom. 5:19). A Man who died a death of the disobedient for us(Heb. 2:9). A Man who was resurrected and now makes intercession for us (Heb.7:25). A Man who is our "Hope" (I Tim. 1:1), our "Peace" (Eph. 2:14), and our "Life" (Col 3:4).

We believe and teach that salvation is totally by the Grace of God which he bestows on us through the blood of Jesus. We rest our hope fully, not partly or mostly, but fully, on God's Grace (I Pet. 1:13). We do not earn, merit, acquire, or add anything to the sacrifice that Jesus made for our sins. Any response on our part (such as trusting in Him, and being baptized as a demonstration of our faith in Him) is simply an acceptance of His "Indescribable Gift" (II Cor. 9:15). Therefore, "We do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus the Lord" (II Cor. 4:5). I wrote the following poem years ago which briefly summarizes what we believe about Jesus Christ - Who Himself is Our Message.

Our mission is to help others come to "Know Him" and the power of His resurrection (Phil. 3:10). We want to help others understand that the gospel of Christ is the good news that Jesus died for all our sins (past, present and future). And that we are "complete in Him" (Col. 2:10) and that our lives have been "hidden with Christ in God" (Col 3:3). Our mission is to humbly submit to His will for our lives and allow Him to work in us "what is well pleasing in His sight" (Heb. 13:21). We believe God works "for us" (Rom. 8:31), "with us" (I Cor. 3:9), "through us" (II Cor. 7:6), and "in us" (Phil. 2:13). We believe that "He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think" by "His Power" that "works in us" (Eph. 3:20).

In short, our mission is to lead others to Jesus, learn more about Jesus, and live our lives for Jesus. We believe that by the power of His Spirit working in our lives we will be able to teach others, serve others and live in such a way that others can and will see Him in us. We strive to live so "that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ" (I Pet. 4:11). We do this by preaching a Person to Know (Phil. 3:10) and by providing a Place to Grow (Eph. 4:15). If you are looking for a church home perhaps God has led you here. If so, we welcome you into our spiritual family.

Our members meet regularly on the first day of the week to worship God and edify one another (Acts 20:7; I Cor. 14). Our services are designed for this purpose. In our worship assembly there is prayer (I Cor. 14:15), singing (Col. 3:16), preaching (Acts 20:7), communion (Acts 20:7), and an opportunity to give (I Cor. 16:1-2). We believe that God requires and expects each member to be at this meeting if possible (Heb. 10:25). We also have other occasions when various members meet for Bible study, singing practice, devotionals and other activities.  We have Bible classes for all ages, a nursery, youth activities, senior ministies and a number of special events during the year. We currently have 5 elders, 3deacons and one minister serving our members.

We believe that our members are some of the best on the planet and invite you to worship with us whenever possible to experience the difference. We believe that the difference is worth the distance, no matter how far you have to come, and we believe that if you come often, you will agree. We strive to be a faithful group, a friendly group and a forgiving group. We are who we are, because He is who He is. We preach "A Person to Know" (Phil. 3:10) and we provide "A Place to Grow" (Eph 4:15)
